I don't use facebook but was reading here about inaccessibility of it and how it is easier to access it with a mobile device. Has anybody tried contacting Mark zuckerberg about the problems? may sound silly but I contacted a CEO once about inaccessibility of the work web site I was supposed to be typing on and got results. Google made their site easier for us from what I can tell. Pays to speak up I think.

I was thinking about doing it yesterday because some of my friends use it and I find it to be a pain. If I contacted facebook, though, I wouldn't want to be the only blind person to do this. I figure we're more likely to get good results if a bunch of us all write in.

I like the Idea. Perhaps some kind of organized petition is in order.

If a bunch of us all agree on a day we all send emails in? Or a week? And we'd have to agree on which modifications are most important - which features of the site are most vital for us which we currently cannot access.

Well given the lack of success people had with MySpace I don't see much better from Facebook. In fact though I still have my MySpace page I've leaned more and more towards Facebook over te last year or so. I find both sites to be confusing and cluttered but Facebook is now the lesser of the two ironically. The main reason I still have my Myspace is for those friends I have who have it but not Facebook.

Honestly, I realy don't have a problem with Facebook what so ever. There are some parts that are annoying about it, but it doesn't stop me from using it. I use the regular site, flawlessly. but you guyare not the only, so good luck with that. hope for the best guys.

It depends what you're using it for. the mobile site m.facebook.com can be used from a computer, anything beyond that i.e. playing games/accessing other apps are often not down to facebook but down to the 3rd party developers. The problem is that most of the apps are very much flash-based and that is never going to be easy to make accessible.
